When constructing a writing masterpiece, including details is a very important part of the process. I recently read the article,”Let’s Get Specific”, by Beth Johnson, and am starting to become more aware about whether or not I use enough concrete detail in my writing.
Sometimes it is difficult to shift your habits and vision to be something or do something else, but in order to become a better writer, one will have to do this.
One must compel the reader, regardless of the topic, because if they are doing the job right, maybe even the most boring of subjects will sound interesting. You can make basic points, but elaborate more on them to add a more interesting view on your subject.
