I recently partook in a festival at my school, Spring Fest, where clubs at my school set up stands to sell different kinds of food from different ethnic backgrounds. From Thai Tea to Pulled Pork Sandwhiches, there was almost every food you could consider.
While eyeing all of the delicious looking foods, I thought how food connects many people from all over the world with all kinds of backgrounds. Many different cultures can bond together over foods from all parts of the world.
I love Chinese food, yet I am not Chinese at all. Many Mexican people like Mediterranean food, but they are not from the Mediterranean. Lots of non-Italians love marinera and pasta even though they aren’t Italian.
I think you get the point.
